One of the (many) wonderful things about living here on the ‘wet’ coast is that we have flowers every month of the year. Victoria is know as the ‘city of flowers’ after all. To that end, both of us selected flower images from the ones we made in May. Both images were made with our cell phones, and both were pushed around a bit in Lr.

Feeling Blue

This lovely clematis is one that Marcia sees daily on her commute to work. The people who live there take great pride in their gardens and often add a touch of whimsy here and there.

Summer Flowers from Winter Snow

Victoria rarely gets snow, and this image was really an exercise in using selective colour. This rosebush is on a quiet street that forms one of our favourite walks.
